Stamp Duration Dialog

Note: Once stamping starts at an In-mark, any In-marks before next Out-mark will be ignored.

Mode 7: Stop-watch stamping. This mode is the same as Mode 6, except the time will be reset to 00:00:00 at the In-mark, the time stamp for each frame between this In-mark to the next Out-mark will be the elapse time from the In-mark to the frame. In effect the time stamps serve as a stop-watch that times the event between the In-mark to the next Out-mark. Some users find this useful to time a sport event.

Note: Once stamping starts at a In-mark, any In-marks before next Out-mark will be ignored.
Limitation: Valid time formats for Stop-watch mode stamping are: 21:50:38, 09:50:38 9:50:38:00, 09:50:38:00, 9:50:38.000, 09:50:38.000.
Limitation: The total duration between the In-mark and the Out-mark should not be more than 24 hours (in case multiple clips are shot for the event). Otherwise the elapse time will not be correct.

The selected stamp (date or time) will be delayed by a user-specified amount of time. For example, for the scene detection stamping (Mode 2) of 3 seconds, 90 NTSC (or 75 for PAL) frames after the scene changes would be stamped without Delay Stamping. With Delay Stamping of 2 seconds, vDTS would skip 60 NTSC (50 PAL) frames and stamp the next 90 NTSC (or 75 for PAL) frames.

Note: Delay Stamping could be used to do alternating date/time stamping (e.g. stamp date for 2 seconds, then stamp time for the next 3 seconds whenever date changes).
